J motion has been commissioned to produce a short advert to raise awareness of the plight of British dairy farmers. The supermarket price wars are jeopardising the future of the industry, with milk being consistently sold well below the cost of production. Supermarkets like to portray this as a “good news” story but the reality is that it is unsustainable and risks changing the look of the British countryside forever.
The issue has been picked up by the prospective Conservative parliamentary candidate for Workington in Cumbria, Rozila Kana. Our short film will put the spotlight on the broken economics facing dairy farmers and urge consumers to buy British and to source their produce from retailers who are paying farmers a fair price.
Filming is being scheduled for later this month.
