Jo Richardson Community School, which opened in 2002, was the first new secondary school to be established in Barking and Dagenham for over 40 years.
High academic standards combined with a wide range of curricular and extra-curricular activities have made the school a popular choice for local children and we were thrilled to be given the opportunity to create the school’s first ever promotional video.
The brief was simple – to excite the next intake of students as they leave their primary schools about the range of opportunities available at Jo Richardson.
Working closely with the Headteacher and his team, we developed a fast-cut TV advert approach to presenting a small number of activities across 3 key age ranges. The video also includes a number of aerial scenes captured by our J-copter drone and the whole package is topped and tailed by a couple of youngsters posing the question: “What school do you go to?”
