Debra is a national charity which supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa, also known as EB.
To help raise awareness of EB and to raise valuable funds for the charity’s work, we were given unprecedented access to a very brave little girl – Alisa – to film her daily 3-hour routine of getting ready for school. Both Alisa and her mum were willing to show their everyday lives on screen after benefiting from the advice and support given by Debra funded specialist EB nurses when Alisa was first diagnosed.
Our footage was cut to create two separate videos; one for use in a TV ad campaign, the other slightly longer format can be used on-line and in public presentations by the Debra team.
We’re thrilled with the film J motion created for us – it gets across just how terrible Epidermolysis Bullosa is, whilst not being too graphic. It’s the first time we’ve advertised on TV and the response, so far, has been great. The film is really helping us to raise much needed awareness and money.
