Project Details
Mercian Educational Trust (MET) is a highly successful multi-academy trust which looks after a group of schools across Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Our brief was to create a short promotional video for each of MET’s schools, together with an introductory video for the Trust itself to be used for future recruitment of schools and staff.
During our development phase, we offered each school a choice of creative formats – but, by far the most popular, was a pupil-led approach where we interviewed a small number of children. Their tightly crafted sound-bites leads the narrative on each video, inter-cut with a series of engaging activity scenes to illustrate the messaging.
With MET’s own video – again, an interview-led approach was chosen with a further selection of activity scenes from all of MET’s schools inter-cut to support the messaging.
Jonathan has created a fantastic series of videos for schools across our multi-academy trust.
From the moment we first spoke to Jonathan he went above and beyond, transforming our very brief idea into a fully formed suite of effective promotional videos.
Jonathan was quick to assist and made the process very smooth, providing a good planning document for us to ensure we captured the important parts of our schools.
On the day he ensured every interviewee was relaxed, and improvised with additional content.
The editing process was very smooth, with most of the videos receiving immediate approval.
As during the planning process, Jonathan supported us to make the edits required very quickly. Thank you very much J motion.Caroline Vickery-Clark, Communications Officer, Mercian Educational Trust
