At our opening meeting with New College Leicester, the school’s brief was clear – they wanted something different! It’s a common plea from a school that’s ready to embark on a second promotional video when their original production followed the more conventional interview-led approach.
We set about developing a handful of potential creative concepts with a clear vote in favour of our suggestion for a “Magical School Tour“.
Next we set about developing a visual storyboard to capture a series of magic moments around the school, while also auditioning a number of students to take on the starring role of a primary school pupil, visiting New College for the first time.
The result is an emotionally charged tour which reflects the awe and wonder experienced by new students when they see the amazing range of facilities and experiences open to them.
In addition, the school also signed up to our popular Social Media Ad Pack – a package of shorter adverts using scenes re-cut from the main video, enabling on-going audience engagement throughout the year.
