Project Details

We first worked with Newport Girls’ High School in the autumn of 2018 and – true to our word – created a promotional video for the school’s popular Sixth Form with a shelf-life of 3 or 4 years.

We were thrilled to be invited back to NGHS to update our original video with a tighter, faster-paced presentation, together with a separate series of five shorter ads optimised for Social Media.

The school had a very clear vision about the key messages to be conveyed and there was an appetite to use a handful of current Sixth Form students to give a personal testimony. Brief sound-bite contributions from two senior teachers wrapped up the narrative.

Then, to illustrate the diversity of opportunities available to students, we filmed a range of activities to support the narrative, showing off many of the new facilities that have become available since our original project.

The end result gives NGHS a powerful information tool to attract the next intake of Sixth Form students, together with a Social Media ad series to communicate with the target audience over an extended period.

Client Testimonial

We were delighted to use J motion for our school’s promotional video. The company captured the ethos and values of our school from an initial consultation and one filming day. The editing process was quick and efficient with changes being made and returned in a matter of hours. The film is of outstanding quality and Jonathan and his team managed the whole process with us to get the best result. Financially, the cost is justifiable when the quality of the end product is seen and we would not hesitate to use J motion again.
