Project Details
The Smallpeice Trust is an educational charity which works with the UK’s top universities to provide short residential courses in science, technology and engineering subjects for year 9-12 students.
Smallpeice invited us to join them on two separate courses to capture the experience for a male and female student; one at the University of Southampton, the other at the University of Leeds. Our brief was to reflect both the learning and the recreational side of each course – creating two separate promotional videos – to encourage other students to sign up for Smallpeice summer courses.
Working closely with the Trust, we adopted a production style which includes a bespoke graphics package to convey key messages, extensive use of time-lapse and tracking shots. The result is a pair of high impact promotional videos which reflect the opportunities available to students through the Smallpeice Trust.
The Smallpeice Trust has used J motion for 5 videos so far and every aspect of the experience from pre-production, through filming to editing has been extremely professional – I can’t praise the J motion team enough. I thoroughly recommend J motion.
